GROUSE MOUNTAIN, BC

BLUE SKYRIDE (VOEST) - While originally painted red, this was the first of two parallel access trams at Grouse, BC.
Built by Voest in 1966 this was the original of Grouse's two Trams. The tram cabins each can hold 45 passengers.
The second tram added in 1976 built by Garaventa had red cabins so the original tram became the Blue Skyride.
The Blue skyride is now used primarily as a service tram but still operates as an alternate to the Red Tram.
The Blue tram was featured in the movie "Out Cold" as the scene of the tram dream sequence.
